Startupbootcamp, das erste europäischen ‚Startup-Accelerator‘-Programm, hat sich entschieden: Vom 13. bis 14. März dürfen 20 Start-ups aus der ganzen Welt ihre Ideen und Business-Pläne den 50 am Programm teilnehmenden Mentoren und einer ausgewählten Fachjury präsentieren. Die zweitägige Startupbootcamp-Veranstaltung findet in der Vodafone-Zentrale in Amsterdam statt. ´Startupbootcamp in 2 days´ finalists to present their plans on March 13th and 14th
Twenty start-ups from across the globe come to Amsterdam

Amsterdam, Netherlands, 8 March 2012 – Startupbootcamp, the pan-European startup accelerator programme, has announced that twenty start-ups from all over the world will come to Amsterdam on March 13th and 14th to participate in ‘Startupbootcamp in 2 days’. This event will take place in the Vodafone headquarters in Amsterdam.
The two day event promises to be a rollercoaster for the start-ups, the fifty participating mentors and the programme jury. Over the course of the event the teams will present their business ideas to over twenty mentor duo’s, who will rate the start-ups on criteria such as team setting, business concept and fundability. Currently the participants are working on their business concept using Startbooster to make the best possible impression at the event. The judges will examine the start-ups against a set of markers including competitiveness, uniqueness and ability to execute. The scores across the mentor teams will be collected and totaled in real-time with Startbooster to produce a top list that will be announced at the end of the two day period. These starters will participate in the full Startupbootcamp Amsterdam 2012 programme.
Startupbootcamp choose the following companies to present their business ideas in Amsterdam: Employbox, LayerGloss, Effecteev, Mipagar, Peerreach, Veam Video, Local Sensor, (Netherlands), Doctorkinect (Poland), Social Express (Belgium), Poikos, Viewsy (United Kingdom), Eigenta (India), FeudalSquare (Spain), Scrapconnection (United States/Netherlands), Reziew (Switserland), Skilio (United Kingdom/France), Adfaces (Israel) Spotie.com, Codinganywhere and Business Exchange (Croatia).
Business Exchange was awarded their place in the Startupbootcamp as a winner in the social media wildcard competition. This was their entry:

They received nearly 1700 votes from the judges rewarding their creativity and solid presentation. Business Exchange offers a service to collect, manage and display company testimonials that are genuine and unbiased and is aimed at SME companies. Zlatko Turkalj, CEO of the startup, commented on their success at winning a place at Startupbootcamp in 2 days: "Reaching the Startupbootcamp in 2 Days finals is the best way of testing our idea amongst other great teams. Meet the best mentors and get real, valuable feedback for our concept. We are sincerely looking forward to enjoying our time in Amsterdam.”
Patrick de Zeeuw, co-founder and CEO of Startupbootcamp Amsterdam, says following about the selected teams: "We are very pleased with the quality of the start-ups that have made it into the top twenty. It will be quite a challenge to select the final participants for Startupbootcamp 2012. The 13th and 14th of March will be two days of inspiration, pitching and receiving lots of feedback for all 20 participating start-ups. This will help them improve their pitch, connect with potential future mentors and receive valuable input. Next to this we will have three great keynotes from top mentors like Bill Morrow of AngelsDen (UK), Tjeu Blommaert and IQU CEO Reinout te Brake. I’m looking forward to selecting the actual participants next week and announcing them to our local and international mentors and partners.”
Marjan Žitnik, founder of Spotie (Croatia) is very excited to come to Amsterdam for ‘Startupbootcamp in 2 days’. Vishwanath Katharki and Devjyoti Patra form the Eigenta Team from India. "We are thrilled to be amongst the top 20 teams in Startupbootcamp Amsterdam and we are getting ready to join the Startupbootcamp family”, says Katharki. "The entire Amsterdam team has been very helpful, fun loving and encouraging throughout the process.” Eigenta is a Big Data platform to enable knowledge discovery for data-driven businesses. The vision of the company is to disrupt the search and analytics market by democratizing the technologies for SME's across the world.
